Abstract
The aim of this qualitative and quantitative study was to test the reception of possible ideas for a national media campaign against discrimination. The indings suggest that there is no consensus among the various participants regarding the perception of the pro-social media material, nor the expectations from the media campaign in terms of content, form and channels of communication. Participants could not recall any similar anti-discriminatory campaign from the past, which tells us about the short-term efects of the media campaign regarding discrimination prevention. More is expected from the ongoing public forum and debate than from communication in the form of advertisements.
