Hearing-impaired listeners struggle to understand speech in complex environments like
restaurants. Environmental factors (signal-to-noise ratio and reverberation time) and hearing
aid processing (digital noise reduction and wide dynamic range compression [WDRC]) have
been shown to affect speech intelligibility in these contexts. We examine the independent
and synergistic effects of these environmental factors and processing strategies on speech
